Wedding Anniversary

Seven happy years. Almost 32 total. Her mileage may vary.

Ha HA!

One time I mentioned it was our anniversary in a group. One gal that didn’t know us well asked, “And how many wonderful years has it been?”
I replied “Five!”
Someone else who had known me quite a while said, “How many TOTAL years has it been?”

I replied, “Twelve!” ;-)

Then my wife laid a haymaker on me!

She picked me out from across the room in College English and said to herself, “Now THERE’S a project!”

First gal on either coast that didn’t right away say, “You’re sick!”
We were married immediately!

She was a fountain of love.
Like I said: I definitely won the lottery!

Lol!!! Poweball prince!!! I love it.

I still don't know why but my wife tracked me down and kind of stalked me until I gave in to her desires. Pretty steamy stuff!

Much too steamy for a family forum like this!!!

Congratulations!
My late wife and I rode my bike out to Reno and got hitched in 1976.
We had 35 years, but lung cancer took her out in 2012.

We traveled a lot and liked the SouthWest. I have been along Rt 66 a few times.

So sorry bro...:(

Outstanding!!!!!

FORRRREEEVVVVVERRRR...

Naa, I give the Ginger Goddess a hard time...she truly is exactly the person I was supposed to be with the whole time. I had a couple of ill fated pratice runs before her. So..she handles my "hard to handle" exceptionally well.

December 13th will be our 5tho_O yep' it was on a Friday too.

I've heard the 5th is the wood and silverware anniversary;).

Whenever someone asks my wife how long we've been married, she says, "It feels like about 85 years." She's told numerous people (and I feel the same way) that it's not because it's been bad, it's just hard to remember what life was like before we were married.

Sorry to hear about your loss, even if it was a while ago.

16 years in January. We met when I was visiting band at her place of work. She fell off the stage and I picked her up!
I can only imagine the “pickup line” you used? “Hey Baby, if you can survive a fall like that, you’ll be lots of fun on ‘trapeze night’ at home, if you know what I mean ;)“.

My favorite for those type situations: “Rub some dirt on it and get back in the game.” :D

“Let me check that for you. I’m not a doctor, although I play one on TV.”

Coming up on 22 years married - together for 24 years. I was 21 and she was 20 when we started dating. We have three kids...just being together seems to make us happy. We usually make each other cards for our anniversary. We’re not rich and extremely practical.

Nothing that romantic I’m afraid. I asked her if she was ok and she was acting brave.

We didn’t realise that we liked one another for about three years!

I married an angel 42 years ago.

We grew up in the same small town. Her father grew up across the street from my dad, and they were boyhood friends. While I knew her my whole life, we did not run in the same circles or socialize in school. She was an honor student; I was (ahem) not. We would pass in school hallways and not even acknowledge each other.

Her brother was in my class in school (she’s 2 years younger). I had graduated from IU and had started my career at home. Over Christmas break, her brother and I were playing basketball and returned to their family home for a beer. She was home from Purdue. She walked into the room........... WHOA! That can’t be her!

We were married 4 months later.
