I have found that George Stagg is some good bourbon and goes great with a good cigar. Anybody else here have a favorite bourbon?

It may not be anything special in the world of bourbons but I always have a bottle of Jack Daniels in the cupboard. I had a couple Jack and Cokes last night before my wife and I went out and listened to one of the best local cover bands in our area.

I love bourbons! We have a group of guys we call Whiskey Sippers Anonymous and we get together at least quarterly to share bourbons and hang. My favorite is Jack Daniels Single Barrel but others I like include Angels Envy, Knob Creek, Wild Turkey Tradition (high end version of Turkey that will change your perception of the brand!), Jim Beam Devil's Cut, and many more. No more mixing for me, I like em over ice.

old stuff

I have a bottel of JTS Brown...unopened ...Had it for about 25 years....I used to play alot of pool and it was the preferred drink of the main character fast Eddie Felson.............Ray

Forgot to mention that I used to drink Wild Turkey in college enough that my parents bought me a collectors bottle of it for christmas one year. On the night of my bachelors party I partook just a little too much perhaps. Never really could drink it again after that. Considering the fact that it was 30 years ago I may have to give it a try again one of these days.

I'll drink a bottle of Maker's Mark until there's nothing left but to eat the wax.

But it's some good wax!

I've been into ryes for the last couple years. Leopold Brothers distillery is out here, and they are killing it with almost everything they bring out. I just got a bottle of their Maryland Rye, and it's fantastic, if you are into that kind of thing.

Try the makers Mark 46...... Smooth

I agree about the smoothness, it does pose a problem with not knowing when to stop though.

I gotta try that sometime, but I'm finding that alcohol is the hardest thing to give up in my quest to reclaim my waistline!

I used to like Jack Daniels and Wild Turkey, but a friend from Kentucky showed me Woodford Reserve, I changed for good. Love it

Big fan of bourbons.

Double JD with coke is my preffered choice although i'm also partial to some Jim Beam White Label and L & G Woodford Reserve. There's others i've tried but the names escape me.

I've been on a Crown Royal Black kick lately. It's not exactly bourbon but kind of Crown Royal 's version of.. Very bold but still smooth.

For me, there is no substitute for Jack but this variety of Crown is not bad at all...
