Yes sir, this is an ‘08 as well. Looking forward to cranking it up through that HX/DA.Great looking Mira! I love my 2008 Mira all mahogany and I'd love to add a maple top one!
I felt a tremor in the Force there…I miss my core Mira.....
SameI miss my core Mira.....
It looks even better in person! It’s got some legit battle scars, but they seem to just add to the “this guitar means business” vibe. It’s a machine!Dayum dude...
That's a hella nice Mira.
Mine's a regular hog, but that looks killer!
Congrats, she's a beauty!
They’re uncovered SC245 pickups. Allegedly.I’ve got a non maple top core version from that era and believe they have Mira stickered pups. Course I should have looked when I got mine when I set it up but I didn’t.
I’ll be swapping strings shortly, so I’ll take a peek and see what’s under there. They’re uncovered SC245 pickups. Allegedly.
I saw one where he said a lot of pickups, including the 245 and Mira, were all from the same McCarty pickup family tree.A looooong time ago, our old friend Shawn said the pickups are uncovered 245s no matter what they’re labeled.
It’s on here somewhere. I’m too lazy to go hunting for this one.![]()

I didn’t sneak in and read your mail!Yep.
This was from an email convo between Shawn and I a few years back.
"The Mira pickups were simply uncovered 245 pickups, so they could say 245 and not Mira on the bottom."
