Wondering, because I am puzzled about an ad. Can anybody share some light?

Tnx. I think that confirms my notion. There was no mccarty singlecut in 2001, just a SC in mccarty burst ;-)

The Singlecut was originally considered a McCarty variant. Lots of people called SCs 'McCarty Singlecut'.

The officially-named McCarty Singlecut was a limited run of Private Stock models around 2014.
