You know, I was all set to pull the trigger on one from Musician's Friend a couple weeks back (they had several in stock), and when I went to put the one I wanted (by s/n) in my cart, poof they were gone. When I called to inquire they told me they were all gone from inventory except one. The guy I talked to could not explain why they all suddenly disappeared from the website.

I am curious what happened to them all. I'm sure they weren't all magically sold the same day within a couple hours of each other when they'd been on the site for several months already.

I would too, except I have a gift certificate for MF I'd like to use. I just thought it was strange how they all just disappeared from the site on the same day.

Do manufacturers pull merchandise back from retailers like that?
