I had a couple really slow days this week which is a nice thing as my job has been running me ragged. The bad part...............trolling for gear on line!!!!

I've got a couple of really cool things on the horizon!!!!!

The waiting just kills a guy!!!!

Must be something in the air.

I had 30 minutes of 'down time' at the office today...and wound up buying another guitar.

30 MINUTES!!! Takes me longer to roll out of bed in the morning, for the love if all things holy.

On the upside - I'm no longer jealous of you Bernie Marsden owners!!! ;)

Just chiming in here: me, too! (Not the "gear coming in" part, but the "down time is dangerous for the wallet because I browse music making stuff" part.)

I'll be waiting for another 7-9 months for my number to come up for my PS 594.

I don't make New Year's resolutions, I make shopping lists for the year in gear. First up, hopefully by June, is a new Metroplex amp, and then either a Tele or a Vigier. Whichever I buy this year, in 2018, I will get the other one.

Once I get something ordered, I move on to the next new thing. I'm at a point where I really don't want much more then I have on my current list. I've gone through all the gear I ever wanted and have found that what I have or am currently interested in will really allow me to put the brakes on more gear. I know this sounds stupid, but I am finding that I am really happy with the gear I have now, which isn't a lot, compared to what I used to horde.

Hey, it only took me 59+ years to know what makes me happy, and what I actually don't need or care about, gear-wise. :)

Yep, I ended up doing an impulse buy on a godin.

How was it with your wait. Any luck.

I was after this West Street. After a couple of messages with the owner, I wasn't comfortable with the bidding. I suspect the owner didn't let it go.

Well I got new wiring and 8515 pickups for my Mccarty . I'm basically getting 408 style switching. Push-pull on volume and tone with 3 way toggle. Can't wait to get that installed!

I picked up a torero stupid cheap still waiting on it to show up.

I don't intend on keeping the EMGs in it. I have a set of 5909s that may end up in it and better switching. I'll have to look it over when I get it to see just how feasible the switch to passive is.

Congrats!

You might have to drill a hole to run a ground wire to the bridge on that Torero, I had to on my EMG factory-equipped Nick Cantonese that became the Gucci guitar. Not too big a deal, holler if you need advise.

Thanks! Won't a ground wire on trem claw accomplish the same thing?
