So I was giving my CE24 a thorough clean and restring and decided to unscrew the pickups for the first time in 25 years, just to see what was written in the cavities.

Under the neck pup it has the date and says W Deep neck...any clues to what this is? I thought it was wide/thin and expected to see that written.
Under the bridge looks like the serial number and some other letters/initials I’m not sure about.

You can just see where the neck pup fits how much it’s faded over the years as well.

The initials should be the people that worked on your guitar, amber the color, WT -> wide thin, and RF -> rosewood fretboard?

This is obviously a special run, so I suspect the W DEEP NECK has something to do with that.

Special Neck Plate

Amber

Wide Thin Rosewood Fretboard

W - Walnut or Wenge

Deep Neck - Deep Dish II pickup, or a Linda Lovelace build

All total speculation on my part. :D
