Been thinking about a volume pedal. I mainly play Country and Country Rock but I also play in our Worship Band at church. Any suggestions????? Thanks so much for your help.

I’ve had an Ernie Ball for years, built like a brick, it’s sitting on a pedal board I don’t use much anymore, for swells I use the volume knob on the guitar. I remember the lack of a little drag and the taper used in the volume pots on the PRS took me some time to adjust to.

The Lehle pedal is fantastic. It’s got active electronics, no tone suck, and is built like a tank. No weird little strings to operate the pot, etc., either. Very high quality. Pretty expensive, but worth it.

Been using the Ernie ball MVP for 2 or 3 years now. It's been solid! It's the active version that has no tone suck, a min volume setting and a boost setting. Just a little bit more than the passive pedals but worth it I think. You can YouTube volume pedal tone suck, and see some comparisons, made the decision for active pretty easy for me! Unlike the Lehle, this does have a Kevlar string inside that may wear out. But it's half the price...
