Any suggestions on a good volume pedal that doesn't suck tone? I've done some searching around on the internet and have some ideas, but I wanted to see what the great minds here think! I will be using it for swells primarily.

Thanks.

I've been using the Dunlop Volume pedal for a while now, but I had it modded by Dan at this1smyne so there is no tone suck. That's the best route to go, IMHO.

The Goodrich active volume pedals are expensive, however they don't suck tone. Also they're now using a longer life pot.

I just switched to a Dunlop from an Ernie Ball. The EB worked well, but when the string breaks you'll be up a creek without a paddle. PITA to fix, and I can't believe they haven't updated the design to use a better mechanism, or at least modified the casing for better access.

iahawk, out of curiousity, where were you hearing tone suck from the Dunlop? I feel that mine is good wide open, but can be darker when turned down, especially if I have an OD pedal engaged.

I own a Dunlop DVP1 and the last couple gigs I've had issues with either the pedal or my patch cables because I'm losing volume (signal?) and tone. When I put pressure on the pedal, or "stomp it", it would work again. I'm going to check the cables first before looking closer at the volume pedal. Has anyone else had an issue with their pedal that is similar?
