Hi all

I'm thinking that I like the look of vintage machines, over the standard tuning machines.
I have a bog bottom standard PRS 245 . I was wondering what, if any, vintage machine options I have for this guitar???

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts
All the best, all

Hmmm....what do you have on there now? If they are Phase III the screw holes may be in the same spot. If they are Phase II, you’d have to redrill the screw holes. Also, I believe the shaft diameter on the Vintage style tuners is narrower than the Phase II and the Phase III shafts. I know this because I wanted replace the Vintage style tuners on my Ted but couldn’t get the collars out of the headstock. If it’s just the tuner buttons that you like the Vintage style of, maybe just replace those?

Replace the tuner buttons! I'll look into that
