Vintage Amps

I like the warmer tones of the Gibsonette. Nice sound.

Have you tried the PRS DG30 amp? If you are into these, I think you'd like it a lot.

Little amps like these are great for recording and low(ish) volume jamming. I have an old Harmony with a single EL-84 output stage, and I also have an Airline (made by Supro/Valco) with a single 6V6 output and they both sound killer, I've even added a speaker out to the Airline and it will get seriously loud and thumpy through a 4X12 cab. The two amps together driven by a stereo effect is just HUGE, but as both have ungrounded plugs, the ground loop set up this way will shock the crap out of you!

I preferred the Silvertone. The least tinny sounding amp, though it sounded a bit muddy and almost blown.
