U.S.Army...drafted(!)..November 1969 to November 1971. Sent to Germany in '70, and had the time of my life. Saw the greatest in their prime:

Rolling Stones, Buddy Guy/Junior Wells, James Taylor, Chicago, Ten Years After, The Band, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Winter and...

And still have the full(in German) concert ticket stubs to prove it...priceless.

For the very first time in my life, I was thanked this year by one of my bosses. I've never made any hoo hah about being in the service and it was so long ago now that it seems a distant dream. It was nice getting a thank you. Thank you too all my fellow veterans.
