Very very belated NGD: Private Stock Starla

Core Starla pickups to me are best described as Filtertrons with an extended high and low range. As a result they don't sound quite as compressed as a real 'tron or a TV Jones or similar. The hi-fi-meets-vintage flavour is excellent and it means the tonal pallette is absolutely spectacular.
I own (and love!) an original core model Starla as well, and that is an excellent description of the sound.

And as far as your PS goes……..Spec F****ing Tacular! I would have grabbed that as well!

That is one of the all time coolest private stocks! Like you said, there aren't that many PS Starlas, so that makes it that much cooler. Congrats.
