Vela - string gauge

Just acquired a 2022 Vela in pretty nice condition once I got all the grime of it. It came with a set of 11s which, I felt, were too heavy and inflexible.
I know they come with 10s as standard but does anyone use 9s as a matter of course.

Tried 9’s on my Vela and went back to 10’s after a week of playing them hard. I thought the guitar played poorly with the 9’s. Note: I do love 9’s on my Strat and Tele tho…..must be the scale length difference. YMMV.

I have 9s on mine but I'm a noodler/shredder type of guy...if they're too slinky try 9.5s...I went with 9s on all my S2s but the 9.5s that I started with felt great too!
