Vela sighting

I’m at the Foo Fighters show in Cincinnati this evening. The first opener was Mammoth WVH. First, Wolfgang Van Halen can freaking play, and does it without sounding like his dad. He had 2 other guitarists with him, one of whom was playing a white Vela for half the show. He then played a silver PRS, but I was far enough away that I couldn’t tell what - could’ve been a Standard…

That guy posts frequently in one of the PRS groups on Facebook (PRS Guitar Owner Worldwide I think). His name is Jonathan Jourdan.

If I wasn't looking specifically for a Custom, I would've brought this one home instead. Super comfortable, resonant, light, and tones were really nice.

He plays private stock custom 22 with a single humbucker and knob the most. I believe it is platinum finish.

And wolfie is amazing. The fact he records every instrument and does all the vocals for the records is still insane to me.

Yep, that's what he played the second half. He posted some pics of himself with it on one of the Facebook PRS groups. It's a cool guitar, I love the simplicity.
