Vela Bridge Replacement?

Are there any bridges out there that are a direct replacement on a Vela? I just don't like the factory bridge, I'd rather have something in a different style.

I would think you’re going to have to go custom if you want to change it.

You might want to contact John Mann to see if he could modify one of his bridges.

Mann Made has two bridges that look like they might work the "Fastback" and the "Fatback"

The Vela bridge is a brilliant design. It's sort of a retro minimalist Mastery concept. To me it's one of the coolest things about the Vela, and part of what makes the guitar unique across the entire PRS line. What don't you like about it?

Yeah I agree 100%. I mean, it’s your guitar, do what you want, but it seems like you’d be taking away a huge part of its personality and sound and what makes it such a cool guitar.

Bridges and bridge materials affect the tone. Be careful what you wish for.

What don't you like about it?

I know this is very petty but... I don't like the way it looks, lol. I prefer a more flat looking bridge, like what the Holcomb has. I plan to do some other mods, and if I can find a black bridge, that would fit in even better with the vision I have in mind.
