I think I briefly lost consciousness looking at those...
Holy crap.

Phew...I got all kinds of excited when I saw P-90 Neck / HB Bridge combo
  • Then my credit card sighed in relief after seeing McCarty instead of SC 594. :D:cool:

McCarty 594 Triple Faded Indigo
Quilt top and headstock veneer
Figured Mahogany neck and body
Figured Ebony fretboard with curly maple binding
Poplar Blue Burl birds with Mother of Pearl outlines
P-90 neck pickup, 58/15LT bridge humbucker

Oh gee, another boring thread full of epic vault goodness from Brian and company - d'oh! Amazing as always, can't wait to see the completed builds.

WE NEED A WHITE WASHED ICE BURST STAIN SAMPLE ***PRONTO***!!!!! That sounds amazing. AND ICY.

When did torrefied wood become an option?????
So I looked up "torrefied" and while I kinda understand what it means (sorta)...what does it mean in regards to its impact on the wood as a building material for a guitar? Is it just a "better" way to prep the wood in comparison to the typical PRS hot / drying room process....???

Brian are you kidding me?!?! WHITE WASHED ICE BURST!!!!! I might be the only one on this forum that literally drools over Whitewash PRSi....
Please show us a sneak peak of what this stain is gonna look like, I can't wait that long to see the final product!
Then again maybe you shouldn't...I might take out a loan on my home for this guitar. The wife might not be ok with that.
