You're right, MW.
That specific tele sound.
But I doubt between a real Strat and Tele.
The Strat sound before 1963 (pre CBS).
A specific guitar sound provides inspiration for a composition.
Can you describe the difference in tone of Tele and Strat?
Twang? Brightness?

Yeah, I would say twang and brightness best describe the unique sounds of a tele. I would say a strat sounds more "Rock n Roll" and "dirty"! Then again, I don't know shi ite about pre '63 Strats. Never touched one and could not tell you when I have heard one. Don't get me wrong, your stuff still sounds fab, just surprised that it sounds so "tele" with no tele's in sight! Keep up the great work!!
