What kind of settings do you remember using? There's the Mode A/B and the Bright 1/2/3.

My buddy owns it. I bought my Simble with me to compare. I tried all the different settings. Some were pretty cool, but the Simble just had a better core sound to me, and a MUCH better feel. Its my favorite D style pedal, and I owned Dumble 183.
