USA Silver Sky pickup swap

Hi guys. Has anyone changed the pickups on their USA silver sky? Tried to fit some bare knuckle Irish tours but unfortunately they don’t fit

I've been thinking about replacing mine in my SE Silver Sky, but haven't really looked into what I would swap to. What about them doesn't fit?

Some have put a Humbucker in the bridge BUT the best thing about the Silver Sky is the balance between the pickup , for me the tone available in all the positions , and yes it plays killer also

You would need to route a core SS for strat size pickups.

It’s a simple swap for the SE SS

My core SS has had alot of pickups in it. 57/08 with the 635 middle and neck. Asato bucker with ML middle and neck. lil 59 with 635s, pearly gates mini with 635.

currently its asatobucker and 635 just because i enjoy a HSS more than SSS..but i go back to the stock SSS alot.
