So I decided to go with the prs se in the blue burst color. I just love this color. Im going to upgrade the pickups in it, not sure which yet, I’ll do some more research. But what other upgrades do you guys recommend? I want this to be one awesome se. I can’t afford the American custom, and a left handed used will be hard to find. So I figured bring the SE to as close I can to the American custom with upgrades. thanks everyone!

upgrading the electronics to the core electronics is good to do when you upgrade the pickups

While I change just about everything on the MIK SE’s I own I would suggest really trying to dial in the guitar as is. If in fact the parts are going to be replaced then no better time to play around with pickup heights, pickup pole adjustment and set up preferences. This way when you do change over things you have a point of comparison.
