Hi guys, I am new to this forum and I have 27 years and playing guitar now for the last 17 years. This is my second PRS (first was a Real USA Custom 24 top 10). Someday, I go in a music store just to take a look, see this beautiful Santana Se and try it. Fell in love with it and buy it! I really love everything about this guitar (tone, weight, play easily, beautiful). Now I would like to upgrade a couple of thing to make it better;

First thing, the tuner (stock feel cheap)
the stock nut
the 3 toggle switch (stock feel cheap)

The vibrato bridge or Block or the 2 (better sustain but still want a warm tone)

If you have any other suggestion that worth the upgrade let me know?

I see the mannmade part that they fit perfectly without any modification on the guitar (that what I look for).
So let me know what part do you recommend me?

Thanks alot,
Alex

Witch John mann vibrato is a perfect fit for my PRS santana SE? I want to kept the guitar warm and get a better sustain (if is possible lol)

You'll want his NOS2000. That is a great unit! USA core nut. John should also have some of his modified SE tuners that he mods to be locking.

Exactly. The NOS2000 is only like, $50 more iirc, so totally worth it.

Also, for the ultimate “stay in tune” package, John has quietly started to make winged tuners.

The The NOS2000 do it come with the block or this is just the trem? And The guitar will not be brighter?

Alex

Ah not bad then thanks! Anybody compare the NOS2000 vs the stock Santana se bridge?

If they’re “winged” and they’ve been made “quietly” then are they “angel tuners”?;)

They should be.

If you’re gonna compare the NOS2000 to other trems, then you need to compare them to every trem ever made.... and in that case, everything else is trash. ;)

lol. the Nos2000 got a brass block or? (Like warm guitar)
So the NOS2000 , a core nut and the new locking tuner, something else worth the upgrade or this is pretty much it?

Those are the one’s bodia recommended. Keep in mind those are still just modified tuners like you already have. So if you’re not pleased with the ones you have, you may not like these.

Personally, I don’t feel the SE tuners are bad. I’ve kept them on a few hard tail SE’s and haven’t had a problem with them.

I'd agree. Nothing wrong with the stock tuners. I'm just too lazy do deal with anything but locking tuners.
