My prized Paul Reed Smith Grissom Goldtop (serial 11180450) was stolen from my home in Kansas City in broad daylight last Friday the 21st. I was hoping to get the word out and see if anyone could help me track it down?

Forgive me if this is inappropriate content or in the incorrect section.

That sucks! Sorry to hear it. I'm pretty far away, but will keep my eyes peeled. Good luck.

I hate thiefs!!!
I will keep an eye out too...

That kind of thing pisses me off!!!!!!!! I wont tolerate a thief. I will keep an eye out for it in iowa. Not a lot of prs owners in my area though. good luck getting it back brother.

They caught the guy right? They couldn't get him to say where it was?

Man if he doesn't - ask the DA about "Victims Rights" - get notified and go to his arraignment and make sure they don't cut a deal that doesn't include restitution or the return of your guitar. DA's HAVE A STACK of cases to "clear" - be the polite but squeaky wheel. ;)

I received an email today that a guitar matching the description had been around some Craigslists in Kansas in recent weeks. Apparently, I hadn't set myself up with a wide enough search area.

Any information leading to the recovery of this instrument would be greatly appreciated.

Good Luck man. Hope you get it back and they catch the bastard. Did they steal anything else? If not, could be someone who knows you had it.

They arrested someone breaking into a house down the street a few days after that confessed to breaking into my house, but all of the stuff had already been moved as he was homeless and couldn't hold on to any of it.

I would think he brought it to pawn shop or local music shop.....you may have to do some leg work. Note: if he did pawn it/sell it, you will be on the hook for whatever it was sold for. Hopefully, you have insurance. Good luck.
