This is the 3rd PRS acoustic I've had. 1st an Angelus SE from 2012 then a Tonare Grande core which I don't have anymore. I remember the private stock version of this guitar and I was blown away by the pics of the back of that one. My first impression of the tones are I'm liking the maple back because it sounds similar to a Gibson J-200 I used to have. When recording many acoustics have too much lower midrange so this Angelus might be better for recording. The neck is about perfect for me. Not too wide and has a nice roundness to it. Similar to wide/fat. I got this used but it seems like it was new because it still had the old tagger on it as Nigel Tufnel would say.
