And apparently numb nuts are unavoidable.

Wow, I guess you guys got tired of trolling YouTube and Facebook? Don't you have homework or house chores to do?
Yeah I guess I’d rather have sticky nuts than dry nuts.
But it’s a no never mind for me since I have no nuts.
My guitars have nuts though.
Carry on.
To prevent binding, I always lube my nuts.

You must have a room full of lube for all those nuts...
Room, no. Gallons, yes.
Jason, you haven't said what gauge of strings you're using. Lube alone won't solve the problem if the strings are larger than 9-42 and the slots have not been professionally opened. The first thing I do when I buy a used PRS is take it to my local luthier (who used to work for PRS) and have the nut slots widened to whatever I need. My luthier and I believe that the nut is the single most critical part for good intonation. I have an SE CU 24 that I put a new Mannmade milcom on, and it' stays in tune as well as my core. And I whammy.
Better than the 80's, when those of us who were playing pointy guitars had to cut our balls off.To prevent binding, I always lube my nuts.
