Tuner swap question----advice appreciated!

Hello all.....

I did try the "search" function, but couldn't really find what I was looking for....


Can the locking tuners on a SINGLECUT or a MCCARTY be swapped for the Kluson style tuners?

I find that the Singlecut and McCarty look absolutely stunning with this fine detail.....the vintage look of Klusons.


If so....is it something I can do on my own, or is it a job for the PTC?


Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
