Truss rod QQ

Hi folks,
I just got this used PRS recently but had no good knowledge about the truss rod.
I am wondering if there is anything obviously wrong with the truss rod? Please see the picture attached.

That's what my S2 594 truss rod looks like. I figured it is the double action making it stick out like that.

OH I am not even aware of the sticking out might be a problem, but it is a good call out. Waiting on others' opinion.

Looks fine to me. What I haven't seen before is the stamped numbers/letters hiding under the truss rod cover.

I do not know what the number is. It seems to be 1003 and I just checked that it has nothing to do with the serial number.

Looks just like my guitars. I also have the "1003" stamped under the TRC. A 2019 and a 2020 core model

Why do you think something is wrong? The question really should be, does it do it’s job properly? Visibly I don’t see anything wrong. I suppose I don’t really look at mine much. I take off the cover, make the adjustment and put the cover back on.

Hi. I was not really saying there's something wrong with it, I just suspect there might be something wrong and asked for opinions.
Because it is a used gear and I had no knowledge about the truss rod.
