Got in a Trip to Chicago with Brian C Great time and Great BBQ for lunch
When mostly to check out the SE NF3 , Very nice guitar it will make lost of folks really happy the neck is not as thin as the Wide Thin name would suggest it it very comfortable , if I could fault the guitar in any way it could use a few more mins smoothing out the fret ends , BUT it still played and felt great and for the $$$ I would say amazing !!!
Got a chance to play a John McLaughin Sig Private Stock it was a Stunning guitar tone wise the rosewood neck was perfect tone was special.
Played a couple Pauls guitars nether spoke to me , I was hoping the narrow 408 in the bridge would sound like the one in the McLaughin but they were not as full sounding.
The winner of the day for me was a Studio ( 2 Narrowfields and a 58/15lt ) the tones were just right and the LT pickups that are usually not my thing just worked on this guitar The hunt begins to find one that fits my budget and color pref better.
Great day it was !!!!!
