I just picked up a 2011 Tremonti and was playing around with it, only to discover that both Tone knobs are push-pull. I don't have an amp with me, so I don't actually know what they do. But I can't find anything on the interwebz about this as a feature. Was this ever a thing for Tremontis?

If I remember correctly, only the Tremonti treble can be tapped. Have you pulled the pups to see if they're original?

Haven't yet. Just opened the control cavity and it is a hot mess. Not stock :(

Nothing a little time and solder can't solve :)
Yeah I've never heard of a Tremonti that has coil split. I've wanted to MOD mine but found the neck is only hot/ ground - no split :( and I've modded all of my guitars for just neck split. Tremonti guitars rock dude I have a few, I love the lay out and necks. Hope you figure it out!

I fitted a pair of SD hotrodded pups (SH-2 Jazz model at the neck and SH-4 [JB] model at the bridge) to my SE solely so that I could play about with coil tapping/switching and they work very well.
