Tremonti USA ID

Okay great to know so Singlecut ‘trem’ are thinner , ‘regular’ non trem single cut are fairly fat ‘(like 59 ish) McCarty single is thicker then that , and Tremonti is wide/flat …(and stripped 58’ is a 2 piece bridge and fairly fat )
do I have it right lol ?
The Singlecut Trem Is Thinner Bodied. Everything Else Is Thicker Bodied. The Wide Fat And Pattern Necks Are Similar To A 59 Neck. The Original Tremonti With His Name On The 12th Fret Had Wide Fat Necks. The Newer Rendition Of The Tremonti Where His Name Is NOT On The 12th Fret Has A Thinner Neck...Similar To A Wide Thin Or More Towards A 60's Or So Type Neck In Comparison To Gibson Language. 4 Knob Singlecut PRS Guitars, No Matter The "Name Of The Model", Will Have Thick Bodies. You Can Find Wide Thin Necks On The Older Traditional 4 Knob Singelcut And Singlecut Trem 2 Knob Guitars But They Are Not As Common As The Wide Fat In My Experience.

Hopefully This Clarifies Things Better For You. :)

Define McCarty...

Do you Mean The Original Double Cut Model? They Have Wide Fat Necks On The Original Models. When They Shifted On What They Call The Necks By Name That Same Guitar (With Neck Binding) Is Called A Pattern Neck.

If You Are Talking 594 "McCarty" Where The Toggle Is On The Upper Horn Of The Double Cut And It Has The 4 Knob Layout That Neck Carve Is Different (Pattern Vintage).

If You Are Talking "McCarty Single Cut" Or 594 Singlecut The Neck Carve Is Also "Pattern Vintage" And The 594's Will Have The Two Piece Bridges.

Wow that’s alot lol …thanks for taking the time to lay that all out….funny so far my favorite neck is the Zach Meyers …go figure lol .

Would you say ‘R9’ chunky ? Or do they lean a bit ‘flatter’ maybe ?

I'd say more R0 or maybe R9/0ish. Feels very similar to my Warmoth 59 roundback. WideFat and Pattern are the same, slight variance but could be more a neck to neck thing.
