Any tips for tuning a tremonti? I have a sc 58, and just bought a tremonti. Not used to tuning with a floating tremolo. Any tips? ie lowest to highest....
Thanks, Matt

I installed a Tremol-no and set it up to dive only.
It helps tuning stability and eliminates worries of all your strings going out of tune should you break a string.
Floating trems are cool if your Steve Vai but seriously ... how often do any of you pull up on the trem?

Only when I'm playing Vai or a Pantera song.....so pretty much daily.
Thanks. Ordered a tremol-no. Will see how it goes installing it. Looks easy on YouTube.
I understand the desire to put a stop on the trem block but I just cant do it. I use mine for a tremolo affect and feeling the thing stop would be like Tiger woods hearing someone pass gas during an important shot. And yes, I do pull mine up sometimes.
