I set up my Tremonti blocked, dive only. I go back and forth between Eb standard and drop Db. No problem, no complex mechanism.
The holes didn't match for me. Did you drill?

Big screws that hold the clawAre you folks talking about drilling into the wood for the big wood screws or drilling into the block for the pin?
Yeah I'm kinda leaning toward thatThe holes didn't match for me. Did you drill?
Do you have to drill holes for this? Just got my prs and don't feel like doing that yet.Best tremolo stabilizer out there- ESP Arming Adjuster. You can set it with as little or as much effect as you like. If I want a guitar "blocked", I tighten the reverse spring as tight as it will go.
My typical setting is with the regular tremolo springs tight enough to prevent diving on aggressive string stretches. Reverse tension spring on the AA set right enough to withstand one popped string mid song. I can back pull, it's just a little more effort.
Drop D and Eb tuning are quick and effortless with my setup.
Thanks. Which size did you get? When put on my CU24 it fit perfectly. Functionally, that was a different story. It just didn’t work for me and took it off and sold it 2 days later.
Holes are actually covered by the tremolo springs.Do you have to drill holes for this? Just got my prs and don't feel like doing that yet.
What you're talking about- E flat particularly- is what I need to do. Thanks for your reply

Yup, I ordered one last night, thanks! I'm sure it will do the job. I'll let you know how it turns outNotice in the pics that the ESP Arming Adjuster just looks like it belongs between those pairs of springs...
It is an elegant and very adjustable to taste/feel solution! EVERY tremolo guitar I own eventually gets one!
