Tremol-No Users?

Best tremolo stabilizer out there- ESP Arming Adjuster. You can set it with as little or as much effect as you like. If I want a guitar "blocked", I tighten the reverse spring as tight as it will go.

My typical setting is with the regular tremolo springs tight enough to prevent diving on aggressive string stretches. Reverse tension spring on the AA set right enough to withstand one popped string mid song. I can back pull, it's just a little more effort.

Drop D and Eb tuning are quick and effortless with my setup.

Do you have to drill holes for this? Just got my prs and don't feel like doing that yet.
What you're talking about- E flat particularly- is what I need to do. Thanks for your reply

When put on my CU24 it fit perfectly. Functionally, that was a different story. It just didn’t work for me and took it off and sold it 2 days later.

I wouldn't call it drilling. The 4 screws are so small and short, you don't need to pre-drill. Not a place that's not covered by your trem rear cover anyway. It's a very minimal mod!

Thanks. Which size did you get?
Oooph, I don’t know offhand...it’s been a bunch of years ago. If I can find my original order I’ll let you know.

*edit*
It was the large clamp model. Bought it in 2/2012. Was a breeze to install.

here's what it looks like...

To get it back to original PRS tremolo feel, back off on three Arming Adjuster spring completely, and then loosen the tension with your spring claw screws until the time block barely comes off the ESP AA. Retune and re-tension until you get perfect balance again like from the factory.

Notice in the pics that the ESP Arming Adjuster just looks like it belongs between those pairs of springs...
It is an elegant and very adjustable to taste/feel solution! EVERY tremolo guitar I own eventually gets one!

Yup, I ordered one last night, thanks! I'm sure it will do the job. I'll let you know how it turns out

Cool, and like I said, you can completely loosen the back tension spring with the thumb wheel and make it so loose that you can set the trem to float about like from the factory. So you never really need to uninstall it if you want a change of pace.
I'm probably one of the heaviest setters of that back tension on most of my guitars.

Just make sure and set your trem where you want it pre-installation and shim the backside of the trem to hold it there while you remove a couple springs for install. I usually use a deck or two of cards for mine. It doesn't have to be perfect.

I think I should own stock with those Japanese people that make them by now. LoL!

I've used about every "trem stabilizer out there. Nothing touches this one!
