Ok, now that the ngd post is out of the way... That ce is the first prs trem guitar. Bridge is 1/16 up in the rear. When I pull the old strings off tomorrow I want to check the 6 mount screws. John Mann's video for the NOS trem says to use the 2.5mm Allen for a fealer gauge. Is that the same for this one?

So I adjusted the bridge with a 2.5mm Allen for a feeler gauge as in the John Mann video for the NOS replacement and it worked like a charm. The previous owner had cranked the claw and mounting screws down, it is now floating. Sounds awesome

Does it stay in tune when you use trem? I'm puzzled with the Alan wrench method. The guitar I just got back from ptc is more than 1/16 up off of body so not sure how wrench would work in that situation.

Yes it stays in tune. I removed the strings and springs and then adjusted the mount screws so the screws were above the leading edge 2.5mm. I then adjusted the claw after stringing it up so the back was 1/16 off the body. It now floats level as it should. According to the setup guide this is the correct configuration.

Yes I think that is correct procedure. One thing I have done is take strings and springs off and with trem sitting on body I lay cell on body in front on bridge pickup facing trem. Snap a pic. Pic can be expanded to see any small differences in the 6 screws. This works for trems that may be setup outside the 2.5 mm spec.
