Hello,

I have a '01 CE with the original PU's (Dragon II) and original rotary switching like this one on the top: http://prsguitars.com/csc/schematics/schem08/custom5wayrotary.pdf

The problem is when I turn down the volume pot from 10 to 8 (and down), almost all my treble cuts off, and the guitar sounds dark and with no sparkle.

There is a 180pfd on the volume pot - will it do any good to change this one?

Any good ideas?

Thank you!

I've now ordered some different values of ceramic caps. Lets hope this does the trick. :)

I have one more question:

When I look at the spec sheets for different guitars on the PRS site, they don't mention a whole lot of fret sizes. I love my fret design/height on my CE 22, but how do I know what PRS is similar to that feel if I'm getting a second guitar? I know for example that the DGT has huge frets - too huge for my liking. Will the custom 22 be somewhere in CE land in terms of frets?
