Treading Dangerous Waters

Are the saddle height adjustment grub screws on the Fiore as nasty as they are on Vintage spec Strats if you're someone that does a lot of palm muting (like me)?
I’ve never noticed them and I palm mute a lot. I just ran down to double check and the screws are recessed enough where the meaty part of my palm never touches them.

The Fiore definitely looks interesting the more I look at it. The two big dings I have for it are 1) I'm not over the moon about any of the color options that are presently available or that were previously offered; and 2) the bent steel saddles, though, given Headset's assessment, it sounds like the height adjustment screws may be a little less slicey than those that are on my Strat.

The people with all the letters after their names lead me to believe that removal of a ruptured appendix is a fairly routine procedure...just takes a couple of months of recovery time that includes limiting physical exertion. Since I can't go to the gym and pick heavy things up and put them down until the beginning of January, why not get a new guitar since there's nothing worth watching on TV. 🤣

Congrats on the gift 🎁! I had a fender professional strat and it sounded great. I hope it treats you well.

Thanks. I haven't had a ton of time to play it since getting it and then getting caught back up on the work back log, but from the little bit I have been able to play it, I really dig the feel of the neck, I appreciate the contoured heel/neck joint, and the pickups on this seem to be ever so slightly hotter than the Pure Vintage 59 pickups in my 70th Anniversary Player's Strat. Granted, this is the 70th Anniversary American Professional II with 70th Anniversary V-Mod II pickups, so character is similar to the pickups in my other guitar, but as a bonus, I can add the neck pickup to the one and two position. I don't really use the two position on a Strat, but it's cool to have the neck and bridge pickup a la Tele on a Strat.

All that said, the comments and pics of the Fiore in this thread have definitely piqued my interest in picking one of those up, probably before the end of 2025
