Trade offer...SE SAS for SE DGT??

Be sure to play the DGT SE. I had a core DGT and finally gave up on the thin neck. It's much narrower than any other PRS neck Low E to High E. I just found it too cramped for me. Good Hunting.
It's narrower than some, but not all. The Pattern is 1.6875" wide.

The DGT is 1.656" wide at the nut; it's the same as the Pattern Regular, though deeper at the 12 1/2 fret. It's the same width as the JM-R (rosewood?) and the Fiore.

The difference is .0315", in other words a touch over three hundredths of an inch different.

People have different sensitivities to these small differences, but you'd need a micrometer to actually measure it.

I've gone back and forth between PRS electric guitars with several different PRS carves for many years, and never had issues at all. However, for some reason I really have difficulty the 1 3/4" width on my acoustic. It's a Private Stock, I ordered it with the wider, 'fingerstyle' width and didn't realize it at the time. So I certainly understand and agree that folks should play the model they're going to lay down 4 figure money on!

The stupid thing is that I knew I disliked the 1 3/4 width on an acoustic because I had a Taylor with it several years before. I just wasn't thinking. That said, I've played it for 11 years now, so I warm up before using it. PITA.
