Totally off topic about a youtube video

Watching this kids videos on youtube, there's something not quite right there.

It sounds very good, but the playing looks so sloppy. I can't believe he's actually playing what I'm hearing.
His technique looks like there would be quite an unpleasant sound coming out of his amp...p.s and he has the longest thumb I've ever seen.

Nope, been dubbed over with a different track. He may have recorded it cuz it looks like he really does know the song, but he ads extra notes in the video that aren't in the audio. The video and the audio aren't from the same recording.

He's got incredibly long fingers though. Hands made for guitar.

Yes, he's playing it. As mentioned, he's recorded the track and then videoed himself playing to that. Albeit, not perfectly. Various reasons for doing that. I've done it on a couple of my vids either because the cam put me of for I messed something up. No shenanigans, sometimes it's just the way it works out.

The guy has bad bending and vibrato technique but he's come a long way in a shortish time if you compare his first vids. That bending / vibrato technique will hold him back though. Fingers look like they'd break flicking a fly!

Yeah, it looks like he recorded than filmed himself playing over his playback.
Looks very artificial.
