I really like albums. Its very hard to tell who somebody is from one song, or even the collections of one songs that many albums are these days.Hans said:Steve, your point speaks to the heart of this thread. Everyone seems to think in terms of the individual song now. I suppose iTunes has a lot to do with that. I'm not knocking it. It is what it is.
But there are still artists who prefer to think about their music in terms of the album - with each song in context of the other. There are listeners who also prefer that perspective. But most people are focused on individual songs and compilations/playlists. That is why I think a great album has become a hard find.
