We recently lost the best bluegrass guitar flatpicker ever, Tony Rice.

Even if you don't like bluegrass I suggest you check out Tony's playing if you haven't heard it. I never got to see him. I had tickets for a show around 2013-2014 but he had to cancel for health reasons.

I saw Tony play a few times when I was younger. Amazed me every time I saw him play. My Dad and Mom were big into bluegrass and we used to travel around the southern states to all the festivals. We have lost a lot of great musicians this year. I was very sad to see this when a friend of mine sent me the news in a text. RIP Tony.

Tony is/was an amazing picker! If David Grisman had him in a band you know he's a real-deal kind of player. Rest well Tony!
