Tone Pot on My 2015 Paul’s Guitar: Ineffective at Rolling Off Highs?

I’ve noticed that the tone pot on my 2015 Paul’s Guitar doesn’t seem to be very effective at rolling off the highs. Even when I turn it all the way down, the sound doesn’t seem as warm or dark as I’d expect.

Could this be a wiring or capacitor problem, or is it just how the tone circuit is designed for this particular model?

I’d love to hear your thoughts, especially if you’ve made any modifications or adjustments to address this. Thanks in advance!

It could be a faulty tone capacitor or a connection issue. I have a PG from around that time and replaced the capacitor due to a similar issue (non-functional tone control). Fixed it right up.
