Is there much of a difference, anyone played both!
Tone difference in S2 594 single and double cut?

Don't worry about the differences, they aren't MAJOR - get the body style that works for you and be happy happy happy!
You can hear both in the Bryan Ewald videos - definitely similar.
This video runs all three S2 594s back-to-back-toback, and you can hear real differences.
The single cut is definitely a bit more muscular sounding. He makes it harder to hear because he edits the clips into the wrong order by putting the thin line between the single-cut and the double-cut, but it sounds like the double-cut is definitely a little heavier in the low end.
