Tips for Attaching Guitar Straps to PRS Core Guitars?

The only reasonable solution is: brute. force.

Man-handle those thick straps. You will eventually get them on. Your hands may hurt a little while after. And you will not be in a good mood if you have multiple guitars. But they will be on. And then never take them off.

D'Addario Auto Lock Guitar Straps do the trick for me without any mods to the guitar. They also come on and off faster than most other straps so they can be used with other guitars easily.

Any markings on the body from the strap? I heard this strap caused issues with a nitro Les Paul

There is some slight cloudiness in the clearcoat in the area around the buttons, but I am not sure that it is worse than any other strap would cause from rubbing the body. Though I can say that I have gotten way worse out using products like virtuoso polish or guitar scratch remover and a little elbow grease. Very confident I could here if wanted to put the effort into it. That is one of the benefits of nitro.
