Knock them? I own 6 different pairs of the things! Running a half marathon (13 miles / 21.1km) in my new Seeya's on Sunday.

This will be my 5th pair....
I even wear them in the snow - I love the footprints they leave and have a good chuckle imagining what people seeing the prints later are thinking.

Haha excellent! Forgot I took a photo of the Seeya's on the kitchen scale, 4.3oz/123g each. That's light!

My daily kicks are a bit less exciting.
I have 2 pair of Treksport, 1 KSO and 1 Komodo now. Just ordered the blue Komodos in the pic above.
I wear them everywhere - I even wear them to the Symphony when we go to the Meyerhoff in Baltimore! :laugh:

I've been wearing this shoe for years. The have a PTC that will fix them up when needed so I keep a few pair in rotation. I only wear other shoes when on the treadmill or in a suit. Else, these...always.

I've been a die-hard Keen guy for years but they sold to a different company and the quality has taken a crap. If a shoe lacks Vibram soles, I don't buy them; dress shoes excluded.
I was stoked about the "toe shoes" when they came out because I'd love to go barefooted the rest of my life. Sadly, they just don't fit my Fred-Flintstone-phalanges.
So now I wear these Merrell's. It's very close to a barefoot experience for me but without separating my toes.

I should note that my feet are as flat as can be. This has greatly influenced my shoe choice. Any type of arch in a shoe drives me crazy.

Wow, I did not know Keen sold out, but did notice that my newer Keens were not as comfortable as my older ones.

Well... I should clarify. Martin Keen left the company around 2005 and started a new line called Mion (My Own). Mion crashed.
Keen quality, in my opinion, took a nose dive a few years back. I still have some original Keens that have outlasted several newer pair.

Did not know that about Keen, I bought another pair not so long ago so will keep an eye on them.
I haven't got the stones to wear the VFFs 100% of the time, that and my work has always required me to wear safety shoes. Still waiting for a composite cap "barefoot" shoe...
Jesse - I have a mate that had very flat arches, that was until he started wearing and running in VFFs. Now his feet have nice arches! There's a school of thought that flat feet aren't genetic, that orthotics don't work, and all you need to do is move like we evolved for millions of years to, instead of putting our feet on weird platforms and cushions, which has only happened in the past 40-50 years or so. YMMV...

I bought some Merrell water sandals a few years back with the Vibram soles, and they still look new.
In fact I have them on now.
I put them on when I gt home from work, and wear them all weekend during the summer.
I use them for camping too when showering or swimming in a creek or river.
Sadly they do not make this model any longer,
