tilted trem bridge

Hi Craig.Bridge tilted forward means string tension is higher than spring tension and vice versa. In your case you have to loosen springtension til bridge floats perpendicular with body.

After looking at pic it needs to be exactly what swed said. Take back cover off and move the two spring claw screws out about 1/8 turn then tune guitar and check trem.

Here's a quick way to get the right balance between strings and springs. Put something such as a few pieces of card under the rear of the bridge to bring it parallel with the top. Whatever you use, make sure it won't mark the finish, obviously. You may have to use the arm to raise the back of the bridge and get the card in there. Then tune the guitar to pitch. Finally, hold the guitar upright, sitting on its strap button, and gradually back out the screws in the claw, a half-turn at a time on both sides. When the tension is even between the strings and springs, the card will fall out. You should only have to fine-tune at this point, if at all. It saves a lot of trial and error doing it this way.

Thanks all!!!
