We have a 91 CU24 with a Birdseye top. I'm not normally a fan of Tortiseshell but it works on this one. This guitar is a difficult one to mix with other guitars because the pickups are super hot. It's my "metal" guitar. Hand signed logo and braz board.
Guitar 2 is an almost ME. It says special order for Paul Smith in the pickup cavity. 07 in ME exclusive Charcoal finish, braz neck and board, and SC 245 pickups. The top is full of mineral streaks which gives it some serious character. It is far and way the best playing PRS I've ever had. That makes it a pretty nice guitar. It's not a Les Paul but that's the niche it fills for me.
Guitar 3 is a special one for me. Old style MOP birds, braz board, small neck heel, sweet switch, and 5909's. I know the current PRS offerings are great but I prefer the feel of the older ones. I've had many examples from the old factory and this one feels like the best of them combined into one. If I need one guitar to cover everything, this would be it.
To be fair, I left a few things out of this picture. Can't live without a Strat and I'd be lost without a Tele and a LP Jr. Being a PRS Forum, I figured you guys could do without.
I have an outdoor gig tonight and I'll be taking the VY CU24, an Esquire, and a Marshall JCM800 4010 combo. If I'm lucky, there will be some gig pics to add to the thread. I'm the singer and won't be playing much guitar but we'll see.
