Thoughts on Gibson’s new management/direction?

As some others have posted here, I would like them to simply step up the relatively dismal quality of their product. At least to the point where they're no longer eclipsed by Epiphone, SX and Jay Turser..... That's what moved me over to PRS. (I guess I should actually thank them! )

It's a bit early to tell or see what this gentleman is going to accomplish or change. I would as others like to see something that I could afford, with QC that passes the test and isn't hairbrained and stored in the R&D embarrassment closet.

I think I played one of these back in the day...back when flashy finishes mattered more to me. Shoulda, coulda, woulda...didn't.

There were a ton of these around when I was growing up in the mid-to-late eighties. Not horrible guitars but... not like, so rad as to warrant a reissue. I recall being more jazzed about the three knob SG’s and Les Paul Customs for $500-600.
