Thoughts on a Stripped 58?

They are nice guitars.
Took me a bit to get used to the jumbo frets but I appreciate those now.
When I bought mine, I was close to buying one that was 2014, more caramel than mine which is more orange or lemon.

Mine might be one of the fattest sounding guitars I've owned. It's funny because acoustically, it's not that fat, but plugged into an amp, it's super fat and chewy.

A lot of guys use steel wool and scotch Brite pads. I'll try a few things. I mean essentially polished nickel is just raw nickel in a polished state? Not sure, but taking a guess.

I wouldn't use steel wool unless you've removed the covers from the pickups themselves. You don't want to deal with any loose bits of steel getting stuck by the magnets.

Do you use circular movements? Seems better than straight strokes, so to speak. Looks better that way.
