This is my 4th S2.
(I like the S2 bevels.)

It was just hanging there in between all the fancy ones.
They said nobody wanted it because it was so plain.
It does not feel or sound plain in any way.

I think people confuse "understated" and "plain" and "boring" far too much.

Just had a similar experience with a vintage sunburst Zack Myers that had been hanging around for ages as no one wanted it, they all wanted the snot green .. oops trampas green one, still had a nice flame on it, plays like a dream and I like the colour, plus I got a very nice discount on it.

That's a great "Taking Care Of Business" guitar right there.

I believe you pick up as many guitars as you can, while you can, and decide what the the keepers
are after you've given them a chance to prove themselves.

In the case of PRS guitars, they're most likely going to all be keepers.
