If we see a guitar we're 100% serious about buying, how do we find out the precise specs (Okay, all I care about is the neck carve) and which dealer it's going to?

You could e-mail/text your favorite dealer, most of these will be "unclaimed" on the sales floor...they could go and pull it for you.

The difference I'm seeing is no neck binding. The HBII has neck binding, and this one does not. Could be an HBI reissue?

Naw, I think it's just a white SC HB II. I've got one with no neck binding. That one sure is pertty!
