Here's one about gear...

So I've always been an auto-wah (or envelope filter) fan, much prefer them to wah pedals which I think are way overused. I've been through many over the years, and finally settled on the Lovepedal Rubber Chicken. But truth be told, I was never married to it.

So I have been listening to Warren's 2 albums Man In Motion and Million Voices Whisper non-stop for a few weeks. LOVE his filter sound, turns out he loves the old Emma DiscumBOBulator (searches of his pedalboards and rig rundowns). I remember everybody on TGP raving about that one years ago, not sure why I never tried one. Well I got one today, the original version not v2/v3, and I instantly dug it more than any other I've tried. Should have bought one years ago when everyone on TGP was telling me to LOL.
